Being sick the day before the AP has it's upsides and downsides. on the upside i got to do some last minute studying all day. From the practice ive done i feel pretty confident, I did the multiple choice practice you gave us and with that and the free response we did the other day, i plugged them into a AP computer science scoring calculator(accounting for if i choke in some areas) and i was pleased to find that i should score around a 4, and that's on a bad day where i miss a couple more multiple choice than i did and only score 5's on the free response. I think that's pretty good. The downsides though are that it seems i still wont be feeling well tomorrow but i cant just skip the AP. That means i have to take the AP while sick and that doesnt sound fun. I'll live though.

So i probably should have mentioned this in my last post, but im writting these from home because im sick and didnt go to school today. If i had, i would have turned in some of the worksheets. also i was going to finish sodoku by downloading it from my.austinisd.org but i forgot that i saved it to the desktop on the computer im working on in your room, not my H drive because the day i started it i couldnt access my H dive so turns out i cant finish sodoku. Oh well, i did the math, once i turn in sort/search worksheet 1&2 i should be passing. i would also turn in sort/search worksheet 3/4 but i dont know how to do them. but that's my fault, i should have looked at them before and gotten help on them from you. also i cant remember if i did sort lab 2 and lab d but i figure if i had done them the first thing i would have done is gotten them checked off by you and if you have it down that i didnt finish them, i guess i didnt finish them. oh well, like i said, i should be passing once i turn in those worksheets.

Im never sure if when i do these blogs late if im supposed to do them as if it was when i was supposed to do them or if it doesnt matter and i can talk about whatever i want. Cause honestly i hardly ever remember what was going on when i was supposed to write these. I know i was supposed to write this the Sunday before my birthday, but that's about it.As far as this class goes, I cant remember what were were doing, what the labs were about, or what the worksheets were about. But that's not because i dont care about this class, to put some perspective on it, i cant remember what i was doing in any of my other classes, i cant remember who i hung out with, or even if anything big was happening. So i dont really know what else to put for this post.

Blog Post 03/25/12

i know i said in my last post that i had a easier way to make the tic tac toe than the way we did but the thing is it wouldnt have been nearly as pretty or user friendly and like ive stated in past posts, i enjoy the long labs and the feeling you get when you complete them. im glad we got to do another long lab, especially a game because its really nice to get to use your product once you're done.

i liked making the short version of tic tac toe, and i think i could have modified it to make a much easier version of tic tac toe than the long version that would have worked just as well. so first to make the user be able to choose where he goes you'd as him if he wants the put his peice in the top right, top middle, top left, etc. and then put an peice coresponding to which play that is(X or O) in the matrix, then have a draw function that outputs the board in it's current state by going through the matrix and seeing where there are pieces and then have something to check and see if anyone has won like was in the short lab and if someone has, display that on the board too. it's really pretty simple and could all be done in just two classes.

i guess we were still doing pong at this point but regardless, it was pretty cool. I know i already said this but i like the long labs better than the short part because i like seeing all of it come together and being able to know that it is all my work. the short labs kind of do that but not as much, because i dont put as much time into them.

Blog Post 2/26/12

i imagine this should have something to do with pong. i enjoyed doing pong because at the end i knew that i had created all the things that made it work, i put the whole thing together, well atleast for the most part, there were some bits given at first. and it didnt take me that long either. it really helped me understand what the inheritance stuff is used for and when it is useful. i got a great sense of acomplishment in completeing it and i liked that.
